Taylor Fritz leads in aces this year: and it makes perfect sense!
Neither Jannik Sinner, nor Carlos Alcaraz, much less Novak Djokovic. The leader in direct service points in 2025 on the ATP circuit is Taylor Fritz; the American has hit 867 aces in 74 matches.
In second place, someone already known for this virtue: Reilly Opelka with 790 in 49 matches. Félix Auger-Aliassime is in third place, with 783 aces in 74 matches; also, players known for having powerful serves like Ben Shelton and Giovanni Perricard are in sixth and seventh place, with 607 and 596 aces, respectively.

The world number 6's leadership in this aspect can be explained by another consistent and balanced year. Furthermore, Fritz's recent months and his performance in matches show greater conviction and confidence in his game.
The spectacular straight-sets victory over Carlos Alcaraz at the Laver Cup can serve as a benchmark: 5 aces from a Fritz who was dominant from start to finish. In closer matches, the number is even more significant; 25 aces against Gabriel Diallo at Wimbledon, and 20 in the loss to Davidovich Fokina at the Citi Open.
Taylor's ace quality is not only a way to control her service games and position herself in the match, but also a way to maintain her composure and find some "relief" during moments of pressure.
